Llueve sobre mojado, o como dirÃan en mi pueblo, cuando el pobre lava, llueve, saludos amigos, hoy paso por aquà para hablarles un poco acerca de mi situación con todo este cambio climático a nivel mundial, que nos está afectando s todos, muchas lluvias, que no esperábamos en mi paÃs, Venezuela, y la verdad que a veces la desesperación toca a la puerta.
It rains on wet, or as they would say in my town, when the poor washes, it rains, greetings friends, today I'm here to talk to you a little about my situation with all this global climate change, which is affecting us all, many rains, which we did not expect in my country, Venezuela, and the truth is that sometimes desperation knocks on the door.
En Venezuela muy poco se veÃan las visitas de huracanes o tormentas casi siempre pasaban cerca, pero no afectaban con tanta intensidad como hasta ahora, y pues creo que en este momento todos somos vulnerables ante esta situación, han sido muchas lluvias y lamentablemente no estamos preparados para tal situación, son muchas las causas, falta de mantenimiento al sistema de drenaje de aguas servidas en la ciudad por parte del gobierno, falta de dinero para reparar los daños, en fin, son muchos factores y cada quien los lleva como puede.
Hurricanes or storms almost always passed nearby in Venezuela, but they did not affect us with as much intensity as before, and I think that at this time we are all vulnerable to this situation, there has been a lot of rain and unfortunately we are not prepared for such a situation, there are many causes, lack of maintenance of the sewage drainage system in the city by the government, lack of money to repair the damage, in short, there are many factors and each one handles them as he can.
Paso por aquÃ, para contarles mi caso, y la odisea que ha sido empezar a arreglar el techo de la casa, tanto afuera como adentro, pues por las fuertes y seguidas lluvias se esta filtrando el agua, desde hace un tiempo venimos ahorrando para los arreglos que les mencione, es algo costoso asà que toma su tiempo, pero poco a poco, cuando por fin compramos una parte de los materiales para empezar los trabajos, las lluvias han ido aumentando y por supuesto no hemos podido empezar a hacer nada.
I pass by here to tell you about my case, and the odyssey that has been starting to fix the roof of the house, both outside and inside, because due to the heavy and continuous rains the water is filtering, for some time now we have been saving for the arrangements that I mentioned to you, it is somewhat expensive so it takes time, but little by little, when we finally bought some of the materials to start the work, the rains have been increasing and of course we have not been able to start doing anything.
Justo el dÃa de ayer, la lluvia fue tan fuerte y duro tanto tiempo que el agua entró hasta la casa, se nos mojo parte del cemento que habÃamos comprado para las reparaciones🥴, tuvimos que sacar agua hasta muy tarde en la noche, y luego secar, el cemento colocarlo en las escaleras por prevención a que volviera a llover al otro dÃa con tanta intensidad, y rogando a Dios que parara de llover, y que al otro dÃa no llueva, asà estamos.
Just yesterday, the rain was so strong and lasted for so long that the water entered the house, part of the cement that we had bought for the repairs got wet , we had to draw water until very late at night, and then dry, place the cement on the stairs to prevent it from raining again the next day with such intensity, and praying to God that it would stop raining, and that the next day it would not rain, that's how we are.
La urbanización donde vivo, inundada, los vecinos sacando agua, y otros tratando de entrar con sus carros, una situación preocupante, y estresante, porque la verdad no podemos hacer nada ante la fuerza de la naturaleza, solo esperar que pase la lluvia y luego buscar la manera de que todo vuelva a la normalidad, son muchas las personas que han quedado sin hogar, y han perdido la vida, lamentablemente, pues viven en zonas de derrumbes, y se han visto muy afectados.
The urbanization where I live, flooded, the neighbors drawing water, and others trying to enter with their cars, a worrying and stressful situation, because the truth is that we cannot do anything in the face of the force of nature, just wait for the rain to pass and then find a way for everything to return to normal, there are many people who have been left homeless, and have lost their lives, unfortunately, because they live in areas of landslides, and have been greatly affected.
A pesar de tanta angustia porque no hemos podido arreglar el techo de la casa, y nos seguimos llenando de agua cada vez que caen estas lluvias tan fuertes, doy gracias a Dios porque estamos bien, y aunque sea poco a poco hemos podido ir resolviendo sobre la marcha, en comparación con tanta gente que esta mucho más afectada que nosotros, estamos bien, y seguimos adelante haciéndole frente a este tipo de situaciones que se nos escapan de las manos, pues mientras estamos en este mundo, tenemos que luchar e intentar sobrevivir, según lo que dicen las autoridades competentes al tema, es que se esperan muchas más lluvias, asà que nos toca ponernos en las manos de Dios, y rogar que por lo menos podamos comenzar el trabajo en casa.
Despite so much anguish because we have not been able to fix the roof of the house, and we continue to fill with water every time these heavy rains fall, I thank God because we are fine, and although little by little we have been able to solve the march, compared to so many people who are much more affected than us, we are fine, and we continue to face this type of situation that gets out of hand, because while we are in this world, we have to fight and try to survive , according to what the competent authorities say on the subject, much more rain is expected, so we have to put ourselves in God's hands, and pray that we can at least start work at home.
