This picture has been taken at Avignon. Its not your typical picture from that city :-) but I just liked the colors and the imaginative history:
My next picture shows a man on the street who has been asking for money. I gave him 10 Euros and asked if I could take a picture. As a rather inexperienced photographer my main issue is seeking or getting permission to photograph people. That is why my main objective still is a 75mm when most pros use a 35 mm 馃槈 for photo journalism. I had not noticed the sign Envoyez de l'argent ici (send money here) when I took the picture. This man looks happy and I wonder why he chose to live this life rather than being an actor, teacher, natural leader....
We stopped in Hy猫res to see its marina with the impressive collection of pleasure boats or all models and makes. It reminded me of a cruise I was invited to 30 years ago that took us from Hy猫res to Corsica and the Tyrrhenean Sea on a 47 foot sail boat.
