ENGLISH VERSION

A cordial greeting reader friend, welcome to my little space on Hive, where I share reflections and nice pictures. I like this monologue that at the same time becomes a nice interaction every time you read my writings which I appreciate very much. Anecdotes, sayings are part of my style in my writings, last month that marked the beginning of the year 2025 had a very significant date for me, one more year of the passing of my beloved mother; sad it will always be and it is inevitable but at the same time it is joyful because I allow myself to immerse myself in the memories and relive beautiful moments with her.

And I say I allow myself, because there comes a time when this mourning becomes more bearable thanks to time, which gives us space for acceptance, because yes, my friend reader, there comes a time when it happens and then we feel much peace in our hearts, we cry with joy when we remember, the pain of loss is there but now we give way to resignation. My mother passed away in circumstances that still hurt me, at that time the ZIKA virus strongly affected many people, in some cases depending on the immune system some of us were able to endure and continue our lives; others as in the case of my mother were complicated with Guilliam-Barre syndrome which affected the peripheral nerves, she was paralyzed but conscious and it saddens me to write this.

Being conscious and not being able to move must be terrible for a person, especially one as active as she was, yet she had to live through it and pass away. The point is, writing about it allows me to unburden myself, by expressing memories, experiences, we can drain, however the idea is not to stagnate, we must continue because we are alive, and life as the lyrics of a popular singer says: “Life is a gift, to be enjoyed as a great party”. It is about valuing it because not everyone has this opportunity.

Recently I went to a fabric store and I met an old classmate and colleague, I was surprised to see her appearance, although the years have passed and we are no longer young girls. She was accompanied by a little girl, her youngest daughter; in the middle of the small conversation she told me: Sebastian died! my husband and I were surprised because she expressed it very calmly, then she explained that he had suffered a stroke and from there he got worse.

She expressed that she now saw life differently, she did not want to get involved in situations, she tried to get ahead and live life in the healthiest way possible. The point is this: From negative experiences we also learn, sometimes it is necessary that some things happen so that we focus on something, change our way of thinking, value more among others. Before a loss we will always have a reason to move forward, starting with ourselves, things always happen for a reason and we must learn from it, for you who read me I send you a lot of positive vibes, see you soon!
