Llegó octubre, se acerca diciembre y el final del 2020, un año difícil, pero que nos ha enseñado lo verdaderamente importante que tenemos todos, como la salud y la familia. También hemos podido conocer los oficios y profesiones realmente imprescindibles en la vida, como los agricultores, pescadores, las personas que trabajan con ventas de alimentos, trabajadores de la salud y la seguridad; por lo menos en mi país, son los que están trabajando y los demás están desde sus casas. Muchos profesionales que se creían superiores han tenido que aceptar la realidad, hoy la primera línea de batalla contra la pandemia y el hambre son los trabajadores que hemos nombrado. Y de agregar, pueden ser los que trabajan en los servicios públicos, en la parte de suministro de agua, electricidad y recolección de desechos.
October has arrived, December is coming and the end of 2020 is near, a difficult year, but one that has taught us the true importance we all have, such as health and family. We have also been able to learn about the trades and professions that are really essential in life, such as farmers, fishermen, people who work with food sales, health and safety workers; at least in my country, they are the ones who are working and the others are from their homes. Many professionals who thought they were superior have had to accept reality, today the first line of battle against the pandemic and hunger are the workers we have named. And to add, they may be the ones working in the public services, in the water supply, electricity and waste collection.
Seguramente serán unas navidades especiales, donde los abrazos y besos estarán restringidos a los familiares más cercanos, todos reunidos con tapabocas a puertas cerradas, para que los vecinos no puedan entrar a nuestros hogares, como es costumbres en ese día; pero todos brindaran por darle el adiós al 2020 año de la pandemia y la bienvenida al 2021, cuando será erradicada completamente. Sueño con las hallacas, un plato navideño típico de mi hermosa Venezuela, el famoso pernil de cerdo horneado, la ensalada de papa, zanahoria y gallina, el pan de jamón, quizás no tengamos nueces porque son importadas, pero tendremos alegrías y felicidad, con Dios.

En muchos hogares estarán tristes, la pandemia ha cobrado más de un millón de vidas, pero se respirará esperanzas por la llegada de las vacunas que superarán la fase tres y ya en muchas ciudades las estarán aplicando; entonces brindaremos por los que se están curando, por los que estamos sanos y por los que se han ido. Tendremos la felicidad de que muchos estarán ya inmunes y estaremos esperando la aplicación de las vacunas a todo nuestro pueblo.

Sueño con un 2021 más activo y productivo, donde se hagan realidad los planes que tenemos; pero no esperemos que llegue, desde ya debemos trabajar con determinación para ir colocando los pilares y que los sueños estén sobre bases bien sólidas y seguras, que resistan terremotos y huracanes, les cuento que desde ya me imagino el próximo año todo de logros y avances en todos los ámbitos de mi vida.
