Photofeed Contest - Landscape Photography Round #128 : Plains horizon [ENG-ESP]

Here I was again, in my journey through the central Venezuelan plains, living with intensity and joy another episode of plainness. I needed to make a temporary stop, to calm my tiredness and recover energy from a journey of several hours in the sun.

The provisional rest lodge was cozy and affable for its rooted and enveloping acclimatized temperature, generated by a flat thatched roof, supported by four sturdy trunks, and to the right, in its characteristic wooden fork, an exuberant and well-carried jar. It would be her, the one who would offer me the elixir that would quench my unbridled and excessive thirst, with its refreshing and pleasing water.

In front of my eyes, a great gift, another picture of the Venezuelan rural landscape in all its spontaneity and splendor, magnanimous and powerful. A living postcard, to remember and treasure, for its emotional resonances, full of soul, for the expression of exquisite synchrony between all its elements, forging with haughtiness an ecosystem, which demands and claims to raise awareness in its depth.

Aquí estaba de nuevo, en mi andar por los llanos centrales venezolanos, viviendo con intensidad y regocijo otro episodio de llaneridad. Ameritaba hacer una parada transitoria, para sosegar mi cansancio y recuperar energías de una travesía de varias horas bajo el sol.

El albergue de descanso provisional, era acogedor y afable, por su enraizada y envolvente temperatura aclimatada. Lo generaba un llano techo de paja, soportado por cuatro robustos troncos y a la diestra, en su horqueta de palo característica, una exuberante y bien portada tinaja. Sería ella, la que me brindaría el elixir que saciaría mi desaforada y desmedida sed, con su agua refrescante y complaciente.

Frente a mis ojos un gran obsequio, otra estampa más del paisaje rural venezolano en toda su espontaneidad y esplendor, magnánimo y poderoso en su lucimiento. Una postal viviente, para recordar y atesorar, por sus resonancias emotivas, llenas de alma, por la expresión de exquisita sincronía entre todos sus elementos, forjando con altivez, un ecosistema, que exige y reclama concienciarlo en su hondura.
