Saludos, les comparto la reseña de la película "El vengador" publicada en el año 2009 con una duración de 108 minutos, quizás si escuchas este título te podrás imaginar que se trata de una típica película donde el protagonista cobra venganza y termina victorioso, esto lo fué lo que imaginé al ver el título, pero me pareció interesante que se desarrollara de otra forma no como siempre que al final acaban con el malo.
Greetings, I'm sharing my review of the movie "The Avenger," released in 2009 with a runtime of 108 minutes. Perhaps if you hear this title you might imagine it's a typical movie where the protagonist takes revenge and ends up victorious. That's what I imagined when I saw the title, but I found it interesting that it unfolded differently, not like always where they end up defeating the bad guy.
Clyde Shelton tiene una familia conformada por su esposa e hija, estando en casa dos criminales asaltan para robar, sin embargo la situación va más allá uno de ellos asesina a la familia de Clyde, ya desde este momento sabía que tomaría la venganza por sus propias manos pero pensaba de que forma si estas escenas fueron tan rápidas y no sabía si el protagonista contaba con algún entrenamiento como en otras películas.
Clyde Shelton has a family consisting of his wife and daughter. While at home, two criminals break in to rob him, but the situation escalates when one of them murders Clyde's family. From that moment on, he knew he would take revenge into his own hands, but he wondered how, since these scenes were so fast-paced, and he didn't know if the protagonist had any training like in other movies.
Pasó un largo tiempo para que el pudiese tomar venganza por su propia cuenta luego de un juicio manipulado, cuando apenas iba casi en la mitad seguía tratando de descubrir que pasaría luego ya que habían ocurrido hechos que pensé que dejarían para el final, pero resultó que la venganza no solo era para los criminales que mataron a su familia. Es una película que te deja pegado a la pantalla viendo cada detalle y la forma de accionar el protagonista.
It took a long time for him to exact his own revenge after a rigged trial. Even when the film was barely halfway through, I was still trying to figure out what would happen next, since events had occurred that I thought would be left until the end. But it turned out that revenge wasn't just for the criminals who killed his family. It's a film that keeps you glued to the screen, watching every detail and the protagonist's actions.
Me gustó como desarrolló su personaje ya que se ve misterioso y seguro de lo que hace, aunque si me confundí en algunas partes porque al principio no sabía exactamente a dónde quería llegar con su venganza ya que fué muy planeado y no se veían esas escenas de pelea o disparos, siento que no es mala la película pero la verdad no me gustó el final, quizás el debió aprender también una lección pero creo que es porque ya nos acostumbramos a estos patrones donde el protagonista siempre gana. Si se puede disfrutar de la acción de esta película, sin embargo no la convierto en una de mis favoritas.
I liked how his character was developed; he comes across as mysterious and confident in his actions. However, I was a little confused at times because at the beginning I wasn't entirely sure where his revenge was headed, as it felt very planned and there weren't many fight or shooting scenes. I feel the movie isn't bad, but I didn't really like the ending. Perhaps he should have learned a lesson, but I think it's because we've become accustomed to these patterns where the protagonist always wins. While the action in this film is enjoyable, it's not one of my favorites.
