The Shanghai agency, HyperSity, has just completed the renovation of a traditional cave in Shanxi Province, China.
The original house was formerly a "yaodong", a cave house dug in the ground. The "Cave House" takes the codes of the old houses, it uses caves hundreds of years old. The architects have selected traditional materials such as rammed earth to create this incredible house which benefits from all the modern comforts.
