Taylor Knights Architecture & Interior Design has just finalized an extension for a bungalow in the state of Victoria, Australia. This new structure houses the social heart of the house: a living room, a dining room and a kitchen.
In the living room, the brick walls have been painted white and, when combined with light wood elements and the stove, this makes the room comfortable and modern. A triangular window in the corner of the living room adds an original touch. Between the living room and the kitchen, there is the dining room, which has a light wooden table and chairs. On the side of the dining room, a shelving unit was created for the owners' book collection. In the kitchen, appliances such as refrigerators are hidden in dark cabinets and the stainless steel splashback helps to reflect light. The most notable element is the sage green waxed concrete floor speckled with local blue stone.
