To ease my boredom or if I am already stressed out I use to visit malls and proceed in the kids section. Checking clothes, toys or shoes for my son or even looking it makes me feel better. If I need to buy, I make it sure it鈥檚 in a good quality and in an affordable price or if price is not fit in the budget then I have to wait for their next SALE period.

Here in UAE, stores always have the ON SALE, from grocery items, to appliances, to clothes, shoes, etc. The only thing you have to do is try to wait for further discounts so you can save more but we should also to control when buying or else we cannot save.
One time, I went out and plan to buy a new pair of shoes because it鈥檚 torn already馃槤.

When I entered one shoe store, I saw there were nice shoes displayed in the kids section and immediately went and started checking shoes for my son. I kept on searching and checking which one is nice, which one is comfortable on his feet, checking the price and then gottacha I found a nice pair for him and mind it i paid for 1.00 dirhams only because of some points in my card馃槏.

I paid and then went home. When I reached home, then I realized that I forgot why I went out. That鈥檚 how we as parents right? We almost forgot for ourselves. And even second hand clothes (Ukay-ukay) we don't mind as long we can send back to Philippines. We want our child to look nice, wear some imported shoes and we as parents wear never realized shirts that colors are already fading.
I don鈥檛 know if it鈥檚 still our choice but when it comes to our children we will do everything. We don't mind if we don't have new clothes as long as they have. The famous expression of we Filipinos is, "Isusubo ko na lang, iluluwa ko pa" - instead for us we are giving it to our children because we are prioritizing them than ourselves.
