This weekend was quite busy for us.... Our friends got married and asked me to be the stylist, makeup artist and photographer for the ceremony and event.
I won't deny that I felt a bit intimidated, nervous and overwhelmed with so many tasks and what it entailed. Each one was extremely important.
As in every wedding, there were some last minute setbacks, but happily we were able to carry out both the ceremony and everything planned after it, the photo shoot and reception.
This would be my first photo session with a bride and groom on their wedding day.... For this I chose a paradisiacal place -(this was up to the bride and groom but since they didn't know any place, I suggested this beautiful earthly paradise)-.
For this job I was accompanied by my beloved team .... My dear husband and my daughter! Of course, my daughter played while we did the hard work.
He would help me mobilize the bride and groom, set up poses a bit, cover for me when I asked him to and take pictures of me unbeknownst to me while I was working 😁.
Working in this place filled me with peace..... It breathes an atmosphere of absolute tranquility, upon arrival, I took off my high sandals and took some pictures barefoot. I wanted to be in contact as much as possible with nature in order to drain all that tension accumulated from days before and charge myself with the positive things about her...🍃
I also realized that I am not photogenic while doing my work 😁, because those poses I adopt are not pretty at all 😁. But it's all for trying to get the right angle. Thanks to these careless photos, I also found out why I wake up sore the day after taking photos hahahaha, I do more squats than I could do in the gym and my cervical also wakes up atrophied.
In a few days the official pictures will be coming out, I'm sure our friends will love the result as much as I do, I confess that sometimes I feel like dressing up as a bride again to do some sessions like this. 😌 I just hope that after 14 years my wedding dress still fits hehehehe.
Maybe if I get the right place I'll be able to wear it again and take some exotic pictures 😏.
I ended the day Saturday exhausted both physically and mentally, however I also felt satisfied for having covered with God's help all the tasks.....
It was quite a busy weekend, but also loaded with beautiful and new experiences.... We could not close February in a better way!📸♥️✨
