I wished i could go to one of those festivals. Here too, the trend had gone away from handmade items, but in the past 10 to 15 years, wool and all kinds of yarns and handknitting have had a great revival.
I hope the knowledge of your mom and others of her generation is not lost and young people will learn and keep the art alive.
