People say that happiness hides in small moments, but I tend to disagree. In my mind it is satisfaction that is momentary and we tend to confuse the pursuit of happiness with our need to feel satisfied...or pleased anyways
When, for some reason, circumstances change and are not as pleasing or don't satisfy us anymore, we run back to our pursuit of "happiness".
Just like a New Moon promises change, we turn our back to the past and seek hope to new promising prospects.
Today's art is about this dangerous pattern and our recklessness, which however is a necessary path to self fulfillment and our only hope to find out if happiness actually exists.
