Hello friends, here I am again to tell you how was my week in the aspect of physical activity that I am doing, which is cycling. This week I actually did it twice, on Wednesday and Thursday, I'll tell you how it went.

On Wednesday I left in the morning at 7:30 am, the day was cloudy and rainy, it took me a little bit to start the run because I did not feel very well, it had been four days since the last time I pedaled, but I quickly picked up the pace and I could do the first part of the route, I arrived at the second bike station, near the convention center of Salvador, there I turned around to start my way back. In that part I felt very difficult to pedal, and is that it was making a strong wind that makes it difficult to move forward, but as I could I returned to the starting point and finished the race in about 40 minutes.

This day I finished very exhausted, in the photo you can see that even though I smiled to take this selfie, I don't feel good at all, I was tense, my neck and back hurt, besides having my heart racing, I guess it was the great effort I made pedaling against the wind. I got home wondering if it was normal to feel this way, since I'm supposed to come back every day full of joy, with a positive attitude and good mood, and the next day I discovered the reason.

Thursday I woke up and realized that I had my menstrual period, (let's normalize talking about this please), after several months absent due to my health problems, I suffer from polycystic ovary syndrome, so my period is very irregular, but when I noticed that I have it I remembered my discomfort the day before, everything makes sense, my body was reacting to all these changes I've been doing, physical activity is vital to mitigate the symptoms of PCOS.

I didn't go out in the morning to cycle, because I felt sick, besides I had to study with Isabella for the exams, also for a course I am about to start and of course work, but in the afternoon, after taking Isa to school I got up the courage and went cycling, I felt better, in many ways, the track was clear, the weather was sunny and I was in the spirit of knowing that things are on the right track.

I arrived to a garden where I was last week, this time I allowed myself to sit on the grass to admire the landscape, the ocean view, feel the peace and tranquility of that space. I love to see a big ship in the horizon, those kind of transatlantic ships that carry goods, here it is very usual to see them, but I always like to watch them.

I took some pictures, several haha, because I felt good, very good, I bought in a store a very nice water carafe, pink color that I love, because you have to have style even to do exercises hehehehe and of course to show off, it came out in almost all the pictures I took. And ready I returned home, I walked the way back meditating on so many things, talking to myself, and realizing that just as the day before I felt that everything was wrong, it was like a physical and emotional storm that gave way to calm.

And of course, despite having menstrual discomfort yesterday, it did me super good to ride my bike, today Friday I really did not go out because you know, it is complicated, but I hope tomorrow I will be better to take advantage of going out with my family to enjoy these beautiful spaces that are close to home.

Greetings and happy week to all.

PS: If you see that some of the pictures look like last week's because of the shirts I wear, it's because I have few that are comfortable to go out for a bike ride, so they will keep repeating until I buy new ones.
