So far in 2021, ether has increased 535% compared to 60% for bitcoin. Just inn the month of November, which was not a good month for cryptocurrencies, ether increased by 7.2% compared to -7.1% for bitcoin.

The first half of December has not been good for ether. So far in this month, it has fallen about 15%, however, bitcoin is also down by about 15%. The last 2 weeks will be critical to see if ether outshines bitcoin again.

The outlook for ether is better in the long term. It will be worth to wait till the effects of the upgrades to the network are going to determine an increase in value in 2022.
