Freedom is one of the most abstract ideas we can found nowadays. What is Freedom?
It's important to distinguish between liberty and freedom.
The first case refers to a political ideology: the libertarians. This ideology is based in the idea of individual liberty. To achieve it they defend concepts like the property of one-self. To deny it implies a third would have more rights over your life than yourself. This means you aren't either the owner of other's life.
The product of your life and your freedom is your property. You own this property thanks to your work (the product of your time, energy and talent). It's an intrinsic part of the nature that you transform into something of value.
You can exchange this property for the one of other people by means of a voluntary exchange and mutual consent. Only them have the right of doing this decision.
Sometimes there is some people that uses the power of strenght or fraud to take the property of others without their consent. As a solutions the libertarians defend the principle of non-aggression. Within the concept of strenght or fraud we could find murder, slavery, stealing, imposition of some ideas onto others, etc...
These are some of the ideas that define the libertarianism.
On the other hand we have the idea of freedom, which is the quantity of options you can choose to do/think/act in a given moment.
So we can think we are really free. We are free within a framework, within a scope where we move and live, with the resources we have at our disposal. Living either at work, at the weekend, when we eat...
Unfortunately this framework depends so much of the place you live on. It can make you unhappy the fact of knowing in another place have a framework totally different of yours, with more space and resources. This knowledge comes from the global communications we have nowadays. But this same tool that has made some people unhappy realizing the inequality of space and freedom, it also provides us with a space in which we all have the same resources, the same space and scope to be free: cryptocurrencies and in special attention to STEEM and his community.
Appreciate so much this space that has been provided for us to be able to receive value depending of the effort, energy and talent others view in us. Appreciate it so much because it's the begining towards a true free and equal society.
More important even it's to remember of living every second of your life, because the time it's the element that limits us the most to explore the diverse options of life.
