It seems there is no better time than now to plant whatever we can at home. The mint is growing roots, so are the onions. Even a little lettuce has roots sticking out too, something I have not been able to achieve before.
Now I know the secret was the level of water has to be at least 1 cm. I used to just fill a very thin layer of water, just enough for the bottom to touch some water but not drown.
A day of light mopping, I was debating with myself to mop or not to mop and gave in, in the end. I felt a little slow today, like a sloth. Just one of those days.
