There is this guy I've been in love with for months now. He always care for me. The guy in question have changed lots of things in my life. Ever since we met in a car. Hehehe, am just remembering how it happened. We were together in a bus travelling from Aba to another city known as Owerri in imo state. Both of us sat together in same roll. When I reached my bus stop, I alighted from the bus. Unknowingly to me, my monthly flow have stained my skirt. Most of the guys inside the bus started laughing and making mockery of me. I felt ashamed of myself.
Immediately, this guy came down from the bus, undress his shirt, tied it on my waist, then with a commanding voice he said, Stop laughing at her, she's my babe, am proud of her. That's part of her dignity as a woman. At that, they all kept quiet, and started speaking in agreement with the guy before the driver zoomed off.
He took me to a boutique, changed my outfit and undies. He also bought sanitary pads for me. He really made me feel comfortable. Ever since then, our relationship have been a smooth and lovely one. But, just today, he called, reporting his encounter with police. According to him, they held him and his car, requesting for ransome. According to him, the police rejected transfer base on the cashless policy here in Nigeria presently.
Ahhh, I started running up and down in hunt of money. At a point he told me that they want to carry him to station. As a Nigerian, I know that gonna worsen the whole thing. Therefore, I asked him to give one of the policemen phone because, I wanna talk to them. He gave them, and I pleaded with them.
As a crypto based lady, I don't store or save money in bank. Therefore, I withdrew all my hbd, liquid hive and all other coins to make sure he's out. The most annoying part is the fact that money must pass through bank before reaching me. At this time, I've spent good 5 hours in queue under hot sun in bank. Yet, I didn't get any cash.
I decided to visit P.O.S for quick withdrawal. They told me that since I need 30k, they will withdraw 50k from my account, but 30 will be mine while 20 gonna be theirs. Chei, it means that am going to lost 20k just like that. While contemplating on the way forward, he kept on calling me. At this point, my BP was already high and was as if am about to faint. Therefore, I asked the POS guy to commence the withdrawal. So he took 20k and gave me 30k.
Then, I rushed to the scene as was informed. Didn't see him. Heeew, what a bad day!. At this point, I have exhausted my airtime and there was no other money in my hand except the 30k for the officers. Therefore, I trekked about 2 miles to the nearest police station. Haaaaa, I didn't see him. That led me into shivering and panicking.
Luckily for me, he called. This time, he gave me another different destination. The place is about 3 miles away from where I am. I asked him why there? He told me that he's still with the policemen. I told him that am trekking down to the place because there is no other cash in my hand apart from the ransom. He encouraged me to try as much as I can for him.
Hehehe, I trekked for good one hour, thirty minutes before reaching the said venue. When I got to the place, I saw some of his friends drinking and laughing. I was shocked. I asked them about my guy even without greetings. Instead of answering my question, all their eyes got fixed in a different direction and that also moved me into checking what's happening. Look and behold, my guy walking gently and majestically. I asked him, Where is the police. Next he said: April fool. Ohh my goodness!!!, I became so mad at him. Next, he knelt down beside me with a ring saying: my beauty, please marry me.
Friends, am loaded down with various thoughts now: What should I do? imagine all I've lost today, should I just forfeit them? Is he not heartless? Should I accept this ring from him?
Am still standing in his presence not knowing what to say and he too is also kneeling down. He must not get up until I hear you guys suggestion, contribution and judgement over this issue.
