Clear tutorial of how I created rose flower 🌹🌹 for my room decor.
Am a lover of art works like beading, drawing, creativity and every other form of artwork. But am not just a lover, am also into such works. The reason why I developed keen interest for artwork is that it gives me joy and more reasons to live happily.
Today, I tried drawing something that may look somehow complicated at foresight but easy to do simultaneously following the steps am about showcasing.
Now, let me show you the first step to take if actually you want to draw a rose flower 🌹
Drawing Tools
- Hb pencil
- Eraser
- Sharpener
- Ruler
- Purple crayon
- Drawing book
Step-by-step guild
- Step 1: with my pencil, I sketched a U-shape.
But seeing that where I made the sketching is very close to the tip of the paper, I left the former one and redraw another U shape under.
- Step two
I placed my pencil right at the center of the U shape tip.
I gave it a love ❤️ shape. Check below.
- Step three
I gave it a curly (spiral shape or coil shape) shape right from the center of the love shape. I traced it down to the tip of the love shape. The image below portrays what am saying.

I sketched a half moon shape above the love shape. After sketching, I thickened the drawing. I will tell you why at the end.

Tracing from the coil two ends, I drew one stroke each side.

Tracing from the tip of the love shape, I drew a half curve shape line down to the edge of the U shape. Check below 👇

Right under the U shape, I drew two leaf shapes left and right.

Right at the center of the U shape, I formed two curves.

To make the work easier, I made use of my ruler. I gave it two straight lines of about 6 inches and then close the ends.

Counting about 3 inches (at the center of the two lines) I drew a leafy shape. Check the steps below.

Going below a bit, I drew another leaf shape.
Look at the outcome as i also enjoyed my banana while drawing 😂

But am not yet done. I need to give it finishing touches. For sure, it need to look great and charming. To get the exact dream, I followed the next step which is the final step.

Using my purple crayon, I painted the rose flower 🌹 🌷 to my choice.

These are the procedures I used in drawing the rose flower you are seeing above. It is easy to do once you follow my guild. I you can, try it out. I will be happy to see your artwork.
NOTE: Whenever am drawing, I prefer sketching before thickening the drawing to make sure I really get the desired shape. Once am sure that I have gotten my desired shape, then, I will thicken the drawing. So you too can follow same pattern to get a perfect or good drawing.
How i treasure my artwork
To show how relevant my work is, i proceeded to cut out my artwork from the paper. After detaching it, i placed it on my bedroom wall to be seeing it on daily basis because a glimpse of it brings joy and satisfaction to my soul. Right now, it serves as my room decor. Why not do same?
