IX. Charles was born in 1550. Charles became king of France in 1560.
Because Charles was young, Charles's advisers ruled France. Charles has a good education. But Charles spent almost all of his time in hunt parties instead of the problems of France. In those years, the problem between Protestants and Catholics in Europe reached its peak. And Charles was a Catholic. And on August 24, 15722, 30000 Protestants were killed by the order of Charles. Protestants who survived this massacre either became Catholic or left France.
Charles passed away in 1574.
