II. Valentinian was born in 371. II. The full name of Valentinianus is Flavius Valentinianus. Valentinian became emperor of the Roman state in 375.
When Valentinian was the emperor, he was only 4 years old. That is why the Roman state was governed by Valentinian's mother. In the following years, Valentinian began to direct Western Rome. Valentinian was interested in architecture. And Valentinian made many new buildings to Rome.
In 392, Valentinian killed himself by committing suicide.
