Balin is a dwarf who lived in Tolkien's middle world. Balin was born in Erebor. But then when the dragon Smaug invaded Erberor, Balin left the city. In later years, Balin, together with Thorin, tried to re-conquer the city of Erebor. Balin is very important in this adventure. And Balin is a great lookout. Once the city of Erebor became a dwarf city, Balin went to the Moria mines. But the Orcs attacked Balin and his team. Balin, died in 2994 of the third age.
