I just finished a 7.196km running that lasted about 0hh:34mm:9ss !

After more than a week without running, I really wanted to test it out today. The idea was to go for a shorter run, at an easy pace. Just to see if I had any issues with my new dental implant. Good news is that I didn't feel any pain, no bleeding, nothing, so I guess I'm back in training full speed!
Conditions were not ideal to resume training, with again very changing terrain, from 5/6 inches of soft snow (like you can see on the cover picture taken earlier this afternoon) to ice patches on snow-plowed roads. At 16F, with a 'feels like' 5F, or for the rest of the world -15 degrees Celsius, it was cold, even for me! But it didn't bother me much actually, I quickly warmed up and ended up sweating a lot. Of course, my hands and face stayed cold longer, but it wasn't too bad either.
Other good news is that I felt well, no soreness or shortness of breath. Actually probably better than before that 1 week break, maybe it was needed to restart fresh. For some reasons, the last Samsung Health update on my watch switched my unit to km. As I felt lazy to convert while running, I didn't really have any indication of my speed, so the way my body felt was really the driver. And with a pace around 7:40min/mile, it's nowhere close to being fast but in these conditions, it's really not that bad. I know I could have kept running much longer too. But it was already longer than what I had in mind, it was just a test after all.
I'm planning another run tomorrow, maybe a little longer and in daylight. Unfortunately, roads conditions will probably be about the same. I wish it was all snow. That makes it tough, but at least it would be consistent throughout. Anyways, we'll see tomorrow's motivation and how the day goes.

Till then, keep Exhausting!
