I just finished a 10.152km running that lasted about 0hh:47mm:24ss !
Weather was again some kind of drizzle most of the day, that wasn't really snow, or rain, or hail, but all of it. Whatever that is, it doesn't mix well with my glasses. So I tried to wait it out, and started during what I thought was a better window. As usual, less than 5 minutes in the run, it got much worse, and I even finished under large snowflakes (at least it was real snow by then).
I thought I was getting over that tired spell, but clearly the way I struggled today shows it's far from over. In the end, 10k in 47minutes is not that bad, but not where I want to be and I had to really push myself. It seems my training has hit more than a plateau, it feels as though it's going backwards. I guess it's yet another sign averaging less than 3 hours of sleep a night is really not compatible with the training regimen I am trying to follow.
As usual, I just looped around in the neighborhood, but I did try a couple streets I usually don't go to. As always also, nobody outside. Not surprising with this weather and at that time of the day.
We're supposed to have a few days without precipitations, so I'll try and go for a few runs. I think I'll just focus on racking up miles, and will think about speed when I start feeling better again.
Keep Exhausting!
