Hive and Hive Engine Power Up Day - September 2023

Hey Hivers,

Time for another Hive Powe Up Day, yay!! This is another fairly typical month for me: another successful Power Up Month, and another PUD badge. It's too late to count how many that is, but that's a lot since I joined. As usual, let's use today as an opportunity to review my account details, its growth, and the various next goals and targets.

HIVE

Let's start with the main one, Hive of course. Just like the past few months, the amount powered up is a bit higher than it used to be, and I still have enough liquid Hive available for next month PUD.

This might be a dumb tradition, especially when Hive stays low, but I always push a tiny amount of HBD to savings as well. Like I always say, in the long term it will add up.

Month after month, it's very similar: the account growth is virtually linear and that's a good thing! The acceleration mentioned the past few months is also confirmed. Starting at 3920HP, I added 129HP to finish at 4049HP. Probably one of my best month in a long while, maybe ever. Way above my 3HP target. Like mentioned last month, it is probably time to increase this target.

Adding today's Power Up, that is a total of 4075HP! So, all in all, that's a 155HP increase, which is of course way above my target as well. And once again, same conclusion: steady and consistent growth, and we can now confirm there is a real acceleration over the past few months.

SPORTS

Another repeat of last month: I did not check the news and proposals around the SportsTalkSocial, but I still added to my stake every SPORTS I received. Like expected, the 15M milestones was reached early in the month and my total is now around 15.3M. Unlike Hive, it is a slight slow down, as I only added about 468k. Still pretty close from my 500k target, so no worries, it's still a consistent growth.

ALIVE

I always say that, but the We Are Alive Tribe is still one of my favorites. Since last month I reached the 10k ALIVE Power milestones, I started delegating a few tokens here and there, and it's already started paying off. This month, with 425AP added to my stake, I was able to get back above my 400AP monthly target. With a total of 10445AP, this is looking good.

PHOTO

I hinted at it the last couple of months, but my PHOTO stake has also been growing consistently. So it's the first time I am including it with all the details here. I am not so sure how much focus I want to put on this one, but just like the other ones, it's a consistent and steady growth and it's worth monitoring it more closely.

LOLZ

Also adding LOLZ in here as a separate entry. I've been adding to my stake consistently for a few months, so again I think it is worth monitoring it more closely, and following the growth. We can check the details when I have more history recorded.

Targets

• I said last month that if August was another good month, we should increase my HP target and that's exactly what we'll do: let's try and add 3.5HP daily. This is an aggressive target for me, but I believe that's doable
• I missed my 500k SPORTS target this month, but this was close enough, we'll keep the target the same for September
• Like I said, this month was better for my ALIVE Power. So, let's also keep the target at 400AP. If I can reach it again in September, it will be time to increase it.
• I don't have a lot of history for my PHOTO Power. But I think adding 1000 monthly should be a good target. Of course, if it's too easy, we'll revise it at the end of September
• Same for LOLZ, not enough history to really make a prediction. But adding between 200 and 250 a month would be great. That should be sufficient to keep me around the same percentage of the farming rewards pool.
• Same as last month, no change on the various drip tokens. I keep accumulating them as I can, but very slowly, and with no target for now.
• Also same thing for Diesel Pools. In spite of reinvesting most rewards, the total $ value stays pretty much the same. But I am confident that with compounding, it will start increasing soon. When this value becomes a little more significant, I might also add this to the details above.
• And finally, my CTP stake increase is worth mentioning here. I don't have a target yet, but it's growing somewhat fast, thanks to CTPX drawings mostly. When my stake gets larger, we'll check the details.

And that is it, August is gone, Summer is almost over! Yay!! Yes, unlike many people, I thrive in winter, but really don't like summer. Anyways, for my account, the conclusion always stays the same: consistent and steady growth. But a clear acceleration is visible, so again let's keep this momentum going!
