Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday was a nice sunny day, with cooler temps, good combo for early October. That was perfect to monitor the foliage in the yard. No big changes in the most colorful part of the yard.
But yellow and red spots are starting to pop in other places.
Still mostly green near our small forest though.
Just like last weekend, I decided to go to the bigger forest. On weekends, we have more time and we can take our time to go there.
Like I mentioned, Kaia's not limping too much right now, so she can enjoy the off-leash time in the forest.
In this forest also, not too much change on the foliage, but we can see it's coming.
We pushed further inside compared to last weekend. All the way to the teepees.
Kaia started to remember her leading role when preparing to leave the forest.
But she was distracted by a few squirrels just outside the forest. She was good though and didn't chase them. Maybe she was just tired...
Later in the afternoon, we added a very short walk to the small forest where the last sun rays illuminated the top of the trees.
Finally, Kaia and Le Chat checked on the yard one last time, making sure we were safe for the night.
And that was it for the day's activities. In spite of the current laziness, that wasn't too bad of a Saturday. Let's see if we can do a bit more on Sunday. With yard work waiting for us, it should be doable.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
