Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday was a bit of a lazy day. The weather wasn't bad with a bit of sun, although a bit cold, a little below 15F (-10C) when we started our daily walk. It's not unheard of for us in winter, but with the wind, the 'feels like' was significantly lower. I was also a bit worried about Kaia's paws on the cold pavement, so we only went to the small forest behind the front yard.
The whole way there and of course the entire forest are covered with snow, so I know the temperature cannot go dangerously low like the pavement can.
And there's still plenty of stuff to find and chase for Kaia.
Like I said many times, it's a small forest but when you go all the way to the other side and make a few loops around, it can be a decent walk.
And suddenly Kaia stopped.
Yep, it was our tree friend, still so surprised about something, maybe seeing us in this cold weather.
I found a couple streets where the snow wasn't cleaned up yet, so we could walk in the neighborhood for a while too.
What about Le Chat you might wonder? Well, as they say, a photo is worth a thousand words...
Well, that's my first fail in #poprzeczka competition in January. That was kind of expected and Tuesday might be difficult too. I'll try to stay in the competition on Wednesday, but the bar will be at 21k steps already, let's see if I can reach it. We're supposed to get a bit more snow on Wednesday, might be fun! The forecast says it will get very very cold after that, in negative Fahrenheit, or below -20 in Celsius. And that doesn't even take into account the wind. Glad they finally managed to get my furnace running fine at the end of last year!
