Hey Actifitters,
The weather stayed very nice yesterday, lots of sun and much lower temperatures. So of course our activities also were pretty much the same. We spent several breaks in the yard, just chilling.
But when we started our walk behind the front yard, I saw this guy observing us.
Kaia hadn't seen it yet, but she for sure had caught its scent.
So we went further inside the little forest.
We were still being watched...
And of course, a very familiar sequence ensued. Kaia finally saw it, chased it and came back a little later, disappointed.
As often, that was our cue to leave and head to the bigger forest, while enjoying the beautiful colors.
We saw many more deer, including these two in the last yard before the forest. But Kaia was still on leash and just ignored them.
At least until we made it into the forest. We didn't have much daylight left, so we didn't waste too much time.
It was a bit too late and dark, but after a decent loop in, we went to our sunset spot for the last few minutes before darkness. Once again, the whole sky was displaying these beautiful colors.
And we finished our walk back in the dark forest. Like I mentioned many times, I can always rely on Kaia to guide us through the trails when it's too dark to see anything.
And that was it for the day's activities. Like I said, just a routine day, trying to enjoy the nice fall weather we're currently getting, in spite of a late start once again. I skipped my run once again. After a decent start, my training for the Detroit half marathon in less than 10 days has been weak. Oh well...
