Hey Actifitters,
Unfortunately the weather warmed up overnight and we even had rain. But the sun was back in the afternoon, and we were back below freezing temperature. So of course it was time to enjoy the snow that was left.
Near the forest entrance, the melted snow already started freezing over again. With the extreme cold we're supposed to get in a couple days, this will be very slippery!
At least the trails are still mostly covered with snow.
As usual Kaia didn't waste time and went on the hunt for critters.
And of course, she made sure to photobomb several of my photos.
The sun light near the teepees was beautiful.
Kaia made sure everything was safe in the teepees as well.
We had plenty of time to explore all the trails of our small forest.
More icy areas that should be quite fun to walk through when the arctic blast hits.
We had a chance to put Kaia through the deer test again. She managed to stay like this for about 2 minutes, not moving and trying to ignore the fleeing deer, or that one just staring at her.
She eventually broke and chased them but at least that gave me time to snap a few photos.
By the time Kaia decided to lead us out of the forest, yhe sun started its descent as well.
Perfect timing for the sunset colors when we got home.
And that was it for the day's activities. I'm back in the #poprzeczka competition, and hoping I can stay till the end of the month.
