Hey Actifitters,
Great surprise yesterday with a little bit more snow than the dusting I expected. Even if it wasn't much, that's still the first real snow fall this season.
Kaia was even happier than I was to see that.
Of course, the plan was to go on a long walk in the forest. We tried to check with Le Chat if she wanted to join for a bit but I guess there was no ambiguity in her response...
No problem, we can go without her. A quick stop behind the front yard first. Kaia enjoyed burying her nose in the snow!
Then we were on our way to the forest. The streets seemed mostly clear, but it was actually very deceiving, they were extremely slippery. So treacherous, I almost fell many times.
At least, on the snow-covered trails, it is much easier to get some grip.
Kaia caught the scent of something quickly.
She went to her usual elevated vantage point to check.
Yep, once again, they were here... With the low light and the distance, I couldn't get any good photo, but it was a pretty big group of deer.
As it became darker, it also started to snow a little. Not enough to add to the existing layer, but it's always beautiful to watch the snow fall.
And of course Kaia agrees!
Since this walk was our only real activity of the day, final step count is not great. But I still have a couple days before I'm out of #poprzeczka competition.
