Hey Actifitters,
After starting very strong as soon as I landed a couple days ago, we took it a little easier yesterday, especially because I woke up very late. But the weather was very sunny again, so we did go for a couple walks. For the first one, the objective was mostly to walk Sam, so we didn't really have any route in mind. We just chose some of the easy trails around the house.
Look at that face! We can't refuse him anything!
As we randomly selected trails and pathways, I still made sure we found good views of my favorite hills. I'm warning you, there's a great chance these hills will be featured in all my reports as long as I'm here. Spoiler alert: we went very very close to them today. More on that tomorrow.
Then a few other small trails where you don't see many people. My favorite kind of trails!
Along the way, we saw this funny cat. Apparently, it found the garbage comfortable and decided it was as good as any place for a nap.
And we were back home. Not a very long walk, but a nice way to start the afternoon.
Later in the afternoon, we went for another walk. But this one had an actual purpose, as we needed a few things, like bread. Very different from where I live in Michigan, where you need a car to go pretty much anywhere.
As a bonus, we found nice openings on the sunset.
We found another cat. But I was a bit worried with this one, it was very close to the road, and not moving much. But when Sam tried to get a bit closer, it finally moved, so it was probably okay.
When we arrived at home, we could just admire the last orange colors in the sky.
And that was it for the day. A slightly easier pace to recharge and go much stronger the next day!
