Hey Actifitters,
This Sunday, we had the perfect weather to finish this long week end with a nice hike: sunny but chilly. We went to a nearby college town and started with a great lunch in a cafe. Way too heavy, so we needed a long walk after that. We started our hike along the Huron river.
The first part involved that boardwalk which was an issue as we met several other dogs. With no way to 'escape' on the sides, I had to turn around several times until we were able to finish that part.
The trail was more opened after that, but still along the river, or the pond.
There was a few playground areas along the way, and plenty more river views.
We took a short break, just enough for the dogs to rest and drink.
And we made our way back, with a few detours for added distance.
And that was it, an entire afternoon walking. Maybe not enough to burn all the lunch calories but enough to get the dogs really tired. Okay, the humans too, a little bit :)
