Hello!
Hola, Queridos Hivers!
Gracias infinitas!!
Agradecida con Dios, y contigo por leer!
Hello, dear Hivers!
Today I had my first concert at the Center for Social Action through Music, and it was a success!
As I told you in yesterday's post, a friend from the conservatory had invited me to participate in a Venezuelan music creation gathering. The gathering is called "Compositing," and it took place today!
We agreed to meet at the Fedora Alem谩n hall at 2 p.m., so I had time to go to the blood bank in the morning to get a quick injection, put on makeup, eat lunch, and take a bus with my parents.
For a moment, I thought I'd be late, as we hit terrible traffic! Some streets were closed, so all the other buses and cars were looking for alternate routes, and that created a terrible traffic jam.
However, we were able to arrive on time, thank God!
Once there, I was directed to the hall and met up with my classmates.
From there, we went to the dressing room to vocalize, and we had a great time chatting, laughing, and practicing a little, until it was time for the performance!
We met outside the auditorium and gradually made our way in.
They seated us in the first two rows while we waited for the composer interviews to end.
First, they interviewed my friend, Yesoven Duque, and after his interview, we presented his three pieces: Thriller, Nage'eai (Puma Woman), and Ave Maria.
Then we sat down, and after the interview to composer Edanir Vercchionacce ended, we went back on stage and presented his three pieces as well. Capuchita Caf茅, Desahogo, and Madame.
I really liked all the pieces; both composers are very talented. And a very important fact I didn't mention at the beginning is that they are both cinematic music composers! A lot of work, huh?
I loved everything!
I also felt very comfortable and at ease, even though I was the only soprano, haha. Although I must publicly thank my fellow mezzo, Lennyiz, who accompanied me as a soprano at first glance
I am also very grateful to Yesoven for inviting me to be part of this wonderful event.
And to my parents for supporting me and accompanying me! Thank you so much!!
Thankful to God, and to you for reading!
