El Parque Nacional El Avila, rebautizado en el año 2011 como Waraira Repano, vocablo indígena empleado por la etnia Caribe, primeros habitantes del Valle de Caracas, que significaría "Sierra Grande"​, es un parque nacional con un área total de 85.192 Hectáreas, localizado en el centro-norte de Venezuela. Se extiende desde la ciudad de Caracas por todo el norte del estado Miranda y sur del estado Vargas. En 1958 sería declarado parque nacional con el propósito de "preservar para las futuras generaciones este patrimonio natural rico en fauna, flora, minerales y diversidad de ambientes paisajísticos", siendo considerado el pulmón vegetal de la capital venezolana.

El Ávila ofrece múltiples atractivos a sus visitantes, entre los que destacan, los muchos senderos que pueden recorrerse en automóvil, teleférico o simplemente caminando.

La imagen original que tomara recientemente a colores en un viaje que realizara a Caracas, ofrece una vista panorámica de El Avila desde la urbanización La Tahona, en el sureste de la ciudad. Posteriormente, la modifiqué haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrece la aplicación PicsArt, particularmente, en este caso usé una superposición de filtros, en primer lugar uno del tipo HDR (High Dynamic Range) que me permite obtener un mayor rango de tonalidades, y finalmente, un filtro Blanco & Negro, hasta obtener el resultado que comparto con todos Ustedes.

The "El Avila" National Park, renamed in 2011 as Waraira Repano, indigenous word used by the Caribbean ethnic group, first inhabitants of the Caracas Valley, which would mean "Sierra Grande", is a national park with a total area of 85,192 Hectares, located in the center-north of Venezuela. It extends from the city of Caracas throughout the north of Miranda state and south of Vargas state. In 1958 it would be declared a national park with the purpose of "preserving this natural heritage rich in fauna, flora, minerals and diversity of landscape environments for future generations", being considered the vegetable lung of the Venezuelan capital.

El Avila offers many attractions to its visitors, among which stand out, the many trails that can be traveled by car, cable car or just walking.

The original image that you will recently take in colors on a trip to Caracas, offers a panoramic view of El Avila from the urbanization La Tahona, in the southeast of the city. Subsequently, I modified it using the editing tools offered by the PicsArt application, particularly in this case I used a filter overlay, first one of the type HDR (High Dynamic Range) that allows me to obtain a higher range of shades, and finally, a Black & White filter, until you get the result that I share with all of you.
