¿Are you a rider or a horse?
I invite you to ask yourself this question, and be sincere:
¿Do you have control over your life or do you just let yourself go? Are you a rider or a horse?
Let's detail a little, if you are one of the people who at all times have total control of their actions, you are the owner (s) and teacher of your decisions, and you have achieved your goals, because that is what that decided: then you always move to success, whether good or bad, that's what you decided and period, then you are a Rider. Surely you will achieve everything you want
But if you let yourself be carried away by other people, who already have definite ideas and let yourself be guided by them, then you are not the owner of your actions, you are a horse and they will follow you Galloping
Today's theme belongs to the Theory of Social Learning, and it is about:
The achievements, happiness, facts and things, interpersonal relationships and their relationship with society, this theory was raised by the Psychologist ** Julian B. Rotter **, simply consists of a style of thinking, refers to the place of Control or Locus of Control.
¿Where is your Control Locus located?
This is the belief that you have at the time of performing a task, the responsibility of your actions, that is, if the results depend on you or not, if their actions have a difference or not in the final result.
They knew that people behave very differently, depending on whether they believe that the results of different tasks depend on them or not
People who believe that the development of a task depends on themselves, have a Locus of internal control, that is what I call, Riders, since they have control at all times of the situation, and will go to where they want to go, at the speed they want to ride. That's you?
While people convinced that the successful development of any version of external factors, have an External Control Locus.
¿How to know if you have control over your life (place of internal control) or take you (place of external control)?
Simple, when you consider that the execution of any task depends on its internal potential, that is, it attributes the positive and / or negative results, as an effect of your own actions, and that are under your personal control, and not the attitudes of others, also, you value positively the effort and personal capacity, example: when you graduate from high school or university, you affirm that you achieved that goal, thanks to your personal efforts, study nights, perseverance, skills, intelligence, have a more positive self-image, experience greater satisfaction, then you have the Locus of internal control. But, on the contrary, when you do not graduate in high school or college and attribute the defeat to external factors, for example: that the professors rejected, that the university is unfair, that it was too far away, that it was not your destiny, a supernatural power, the stars or you just have bad luck, in this case you have the External Control Locus, all this is related to the degree of control you perceive about the events
There are people who are fatalistic, who have all of luck, their successes, their defeats are disadvantaged, their lives have been planned in advance and they just need to travel the right way, they think they do not have the capacity to change the Events ¡They are all wrong!
Human beings have the ability to exercise a degree of control over the actions that are considered important in their lives, thus achieving their objectives. On the contrary, the feeling of not being able to control everything generates a state of paralysis, stress and frustration that prevents people from reaching the proposed objectives
Yes, all actions are related to luck, the stars, other people, then they have no control, it is time to take control, become a rider, take responsibility in their lives. The only responsible for your victories and defeats is you, not your neighbor, your classmates or your ex. Locate your internal control locus.
In the professional field, individual and even socio-political level individuals can directly affect the results, and when you are convinced that you are solely responsible for the outcome of any situation leads to a strong desire to do anything and everything whatever is necessary to ensure that the result is positive.
I invite you to become a great rider, ride towards success!
Do not let them set you up anymore!
