Has it happened to you that you are the creator of a "novel" idea and suddenly someone takes it as if it were her?
And the most painful thing is that they present the ideas as if they were theirs and they do not give you any credit, so you're surprised.
Idea theft is more common than you think, happens daily at home, in the company, at school and even with friends.
Throughout the history of humanity we can find many scenes where great creators and / or authors of works, ideas, songs, artistic pieces, among others, were taken from them and immediately presented and exploited by third parties and not by their creators. Real mysteries have been woven around it, such is the case of "Romeo and Juliet" by William Shakespeare, but there are indications that the true author was Sir Francis Bacon. What do you think?
The theft of ideas not only happens with people, it has also happened with countries, a very old example is pasta, over the centuries it has been considered that pasta is created by Italians, but there is evidence that it was Marco Polo, who took her from China to Europe between 1254-1324
This behavior is defined as the Annat Syndrome, and basically is aimed at gaining prestige with ideas from others, is a deliberate and conscious behavior of an individual or a group of individuals, who appropriate the ideas of others to gain benefits to their superiors, followers or desired scenario.
The syndrome is simply based on stealing ideas from others and making profits with them.
What characteristics do an individual suffering from Anát syndrome have?
Individuals are characterized by:
1) Have distrust of their abilities.
2) They distrust their knowledge.
3) And they are disloyal.
