Hey good afternoon my dearest people of #Hive, happy Friday to all of you and I hope you had an excellent week, mine fortunately was full productive; I was able to finish several pending things of my work that I had over there, and I could also start some sketches and finish a couple of drawings that I plan to bring them to you soon here on the platform next week. In the case of my drawing today what I wanted to do was to practice a little with the painting of the fire element, but trying to make it a little different from the fire we normally know with its warm appearance, but rather a kind of gloomy or dark fire which was manipulated by a person, which in this case would be this character that I decided to invent for my illustration which I called Soinyah; which is a kind of priestess capable of creating and manipulating the red and hot flames of the dark worlds:
Hey buenas tardes mi queridísima gente de #Hive, feliz viernes para todos y espero hayan pasado una excelente semana, la mía afortunadamente fue full productiva; pude terminar varias cosas pendientes de mi trabajo que tenía por allí, y también pude empezar algunos bocetos y termine un par de dibujos que planeo traérselos pronto por aquí por la plataforma la próxima semana. En el caso de mi dibujo del día de hoy lo que quise hacer fue practicar un poco con el pintado del elemento fuego, pero tratando de que fuera un poco diferente al fuego que normalmente conocemos con su apariencia cálida, sino que mas bien fuera una especie de fuego tétrico o tenebroso el cual fuera manipulado por una persona, que en este caso sería este personaje que decidí inventar para mi ilustración a la cual llame Soinyah; la cual es una especie de sacerdotisa capaz de crear y manipular las rojas y candentes flamas de los mundos oscuros:

For this drawing my main idea is that not only the flames of fire stand out, but also the character of Soinyah, I want to get a good balance for my illustration and that's why I put a great effort to the sketch the priestess; I draw her with both arms towards the front and with her hands slightly open to give the impression that she is about to do something with them. The painting process I did a little more to my imagination, the painting of the skin for example if I decided to do it with warm tones, unlike the flames, this because I really liked an orange color that I found in my color palette and I thought it would be great for this character; for the section of the clothes I went more for brown colors to try to balance and contrast a little with the orange skin.
Para este dibujo mi idea principal es que no solo las llamas de fuego destacaran, sino también el personaje de Soinyah, quiera conseguí un buen equilibrio para mi ilustración y por eso le puse un gran empeño al boceto la sacerdotisa; la dibujo con ambos brazos hacia la parte de enfrente y con sus manos levemente abiertas para dar la impresión desea esta apunto de hacer algo con ellas. El proceso de pintado lo hice un poco mas a mi imaginación, el pintado de la piel por ejemplo si decidí hacerlo con tonos cálidos, a diferencia de las llamas, esto pues me gusto mucho un color anaranjado que encontré en mi paleta de colores y que me pareció le vendría genial a este personaje; para el apartado de la ropa me fui más por los colores marrones para tratar de equilibrar y contrastar un poco con la piel naranja.
My idea was to give the skin a more or less tanned look, that's why on the orange base color I added orange-brown tones slightly darker than the base color, and then with a little watercolor I was mixing a little and varying the intensities of the strokes to try to achieve a little more texture and volume to the skin; I repeated a lot the previous process and then I added a little blush to the face with a scarlet reddish color and the airbrush. After giving good warmth and expression to the face, the next thing I did was to start painting the eyes and lips, for the eyes I used a very gelatinous raspberry red color hehehehehe, to give shape to the inner iris, and for the lips I played a little with pink tones; little by little I was detailing these 2 parts with patience and taking care of the size and minimum opacity of my brush strokes, and finally what I added as a complement were glosses.
Mi idea era darle a la piel una apariencia mas o menos bronceada, es por ello que sobre la base de color naranja añadí tonos de naranaja-marron levemente más oscuros que el color base, y luego con un poco de acuarela fui mezclando un poco y variando las intensidades de los trazos para tratar de logra un poco mas de textura y volumen para la piel; repetí mucho el proceso anterior y luego añadí un poco de rubor al rostro con un color rojizo escarlata y el pincel aerógrafo. Después de darle buena calidez y expresión al rostro, lo siguiente que hice fue comenzar a pintar los ojos y labios, para los ojos use un color rojo frambuesa muy gelatinoso jejejeje, para irle dando forma al iris interno, y para los labios jugué un poco con los tonos rosados; poco a poco fui detallando estas 2 partes con paciencia y cuidando el tamaño y la opacidad mínima de mi pincel de trazos, ya por último lo que agregue como complemento fueron brillos
As my character is a Priestess what I did was to focus on building her clothes with a more or less particular style, I created a kind of dress that covered from the neck to the legs, with slightly bare shoulders and a little below them some long and thin sleeves; all this I worked using very dark colors at first, and then I textured a little this clothes using a square brush. I was a good rare giving shape to the dress until I finally achieved it and I only dedicated myself to complement a little with light strokes releasing my hand a little in different areas to give a little leather look; then for the hair I was encouraged to follow the black base that I had done at the beginning and what I did was to give it a little shape and add strands in the upper part and where the lighting of the environment arrives.
Al tratarse mi personaje de una Sacerdotisa lo que hice fue centrarme en construir su ropa con un estilo mas o menos particular, cree una especie de vestido que cubriera desde el cuello hasta las piernas, con los hombros levemente descubiertos y un poco más debajo de ellos unas largas y finas mangas; todo esto lo trabaje haciendo use de colores muy oscuros en un comienzo, y luego texturice un poco esta ropa usando un pincel de punta cuadrada. Estuve un buen raro dándole forma al vestido hasta que finalmente lo logre y solo me dedique a complementar un poco con trazos leves soltando un poco mi mano por distintas zonas para dar un poco de apariencia a cuero; después para el cabello me anime a seguir la base de color negro que había hecho en un inicio y lo que hice fue darle un poco de forma e ir añadiendo mechones en la parte altas y donde llega la iluminación del ambiente.
For the final part what I did was to create a temple scenario in the atas part of my drawing, I created some arches and windows in the upper part and with the watercolor I gave shape to the walls, the idea of using watercolor is to give the impression that the temple is quite old or ancient; I gave a little more depth and then I moved on to the flames. For the creation of the flames I created several sections of the fire, first I painted a base of red color very similar to that of the eyes that I then erased slightly its contour and I was giving that shape of fire a little more realistic; I went from outside to inside creating the different layers of the flames of fire scaling a little the red tones until almost touching the pink color, I was giving a little lighting to the fire with airbrush and using the modes of layers to highlight even more and finally I returned to stretch the flames with the finger brush to give the last shape to the red fire.
Para la parte final lo que hice fue crear un escenario de templo en la parte de atas de mi dibujo, cree algunos arcos y ventanas en la parte alta y con la acuarela le di forma a los muros, la idea de usar acuarela es que diera la impresión de que el templo es bastante viejo o antiguo; di un poco más de profundidad y luego me pase a las llamas. Para la ceración de las llamas cree varias secciones del fuego, primero pinte una base de color rojo muy similar al de los ojos que luego borre levemente su contorno y le fui dando esa forma de fuego un poco mas realista; fui desde afuera hacia adentro creando las distintas capas de la llamas de fuego escalando un poco los tonos rojos hasta casi rozar con el color rosa, fui dando un poco de iluminación al fuego con aerógrafo y usando los modos de capas para resaltar aun mas y por ultimo volví a estirar las flamas con el pincel de dedo para darle la ultima forma al fuego rojo.
