How are you my people, I hope you are very well and welcome back to my artistic blog, the work that I bring you today is a quite particular because it is a work which I made from my cell phone. The story of how I made this work is quite funny hahahahahahaha, it turns out that where I live there was an electrical problem in the wiring network, and both my urbanization and several surrounding areas were without electricity for almost 24 hours, as you know I make my drawings from my desktop pc and without electricity I can not do anything XD.
Como están mi gente, espero que muy muy bien y sean bienvenidos de Nuevo a mi blog artístico, la obra que les traigo el día de hoy es una bastante particular pues es una obra la cual realice desde mi teléfono celular. La historia de cómo realice esta obra es bastante chistosa jajajajajaja, resulta que por donde vivo ocurrió un problema eléctrico en la red de cableado, y tanto mi urbanización como varios sectores aledaños quedamos sin electricidad por casi 24 horas; como sabrán yo realizo mis dibujos desde mi pc de escritorio y sin energía eléctrica directamente no puedo hacer nada XD.
I'm not used to draw on my phone or at least I had a long time without doing it since I bought my graphic tablet back in late 2020, in fact, I only have a basic drawing program installed on it, but since I had no electricity and my phone had enough battery I decided to draw for a while and that's where I made this work in which I illustrate Elksadir, a space creature with humanoid reptilian features; Elksadir is a highly dangerous parasitic creature which is dedicated to move from planet to planet with the intention of infecting and spreading its species to all corners of the galaxy.
No acostumbro a dibujar en mi teléfono o al menos tenia muchísimo tiempo sin hacerlo desde que compre mi tableta grafica por allá a finales de 2020, de hecho, solo tengo un programa de dibujo básico instalado en él, pero bueno como no tenía electricidad y mi teléfono tenía suficiente batería me anime a dibujar un rato y fue allí donde realice esta obra en la cual ilustre a Elksadir, una criatura espacial con rasgos de reptil humanoide; Elksadir es una criatura parasitaria altamente peligrosa la cual se dedica a trasladarse de planeta en planeta con la intención de infectar y extender su especie a todos los rincones de la galaxia.
PROCESS / PROCESO
The realization of the sketch of this work was a little complicated because although my phone has a wide screen, even so, it was not very adapted compared to the dimensions of the monitor of my PC and especially because the dimensions to draw on the phone with my tablet also change greatly; but still I put my best effort to make a sketch that left me quite satisfied and that's where I could start applying tones to shape everything. For the base of Elksadir's skin I decided to use a quite intense purple tone to create a gloomy appearance since it would be an alien, and to create volume in the face and body I applied more intense tones and applied a little bit the layer modes at high opacity.
La realización del boceto de esta obra fue un poco complicada pues a pesar de que mi teléfono cuenta con una pantalla amplia, aun así, no estaba muy adaptado en comparación con las dimensiones del monitor de mi Pc y sobretodo pues las dimensiones para dibujar en teléfono con mi tableta también cambian enormemente; pero aun así puse mi mayor esfuerzo realice un boceto que me dejo bastante satisfecho y fui allí donde pude empezar a aplicar tonos para darle forma a todo. Para la base de la piel de Elksadir decidí usar un tono de morado bastante intenso para crear una apariencia tétrica ya que se trataría de un alienígena, y para ir creando volumen en el rostro y el cuerpo fui aplicando tonos más intensos y aplicando un poco los modos de capa a aja opacidad.
Next in the process was the creation of the details of the face that as I mentioned in previous drawings is an extremely important part since the details of the eyes, lips and teeth are the ones that give the essence to each drawing and above all the personality that will transmit to everyone who looks at them; for the tongue area I decided to use a red with a tendency to red wine tones and little by little I was creating texture. After finishing with the tongue I went directly to the painting of the teeth and fangs that give that reptilian appearance to Elkasir, little by little I gave shape to the fangs and took the opportunity to set the base of the eyes with a very similar gray.
Lo siguiente en el proceso fue la creación de los detalles del rostro que como he mencionado en anteriores dibujos es una parte sumamente importante ya que los detalles de los ojos, labios y dientes son los que le dan la esencia a cada dibujo y sobretodo la personalidad que transmitirán a todo el que las mira; para la zona de la lengua decidí utilizar un rojo con tendencia a los tonos vino tintos y poco a poco fui creando textura. Luego de terminar con la lengua pase directamente al pintado de los dientes y colmillos que le dan esa apariencia de reptil a Elkasir, poco a poco le fui dando forma a los colmillos y aproveche de sentar la base de los ojos con un gris bastante similar.
With the base of the eyes well defined the next thing I did was to use a fine tip brush and also a brush with an open brush tip to detail the inner iris of the eyes; then to achieve the volume and that the eyes did not look flat and boring I used a brush tip brush a little more open than the previous one along with a scattering brush to blend and achieve that volume in the eyes. After finishing with the details of the face I wanted to create a kind of silver hair to give a special look to Elksadir, for this I used a blurred and soft tip brush to gradually create a more natural and detailed relief; then as usual I create the locks one by one until I get the look that most convinced me.
Con la base de los ojos bien definido lo siguiente que hice fue usar un pincel con punta fina y también un pincel con punta como de brocha abierta para ir detallando el iris interno de los ojos; luego para lograr el volumen y que los ojos no se vieran planos y aburridos usé un pincel de punta de brocha un poco más abierto que el anterior junto con un pincel de dispersión para difuminar y lograr ese volumen en los ojos. Luego de terminar con los detalles del rostro quise crear una especie de cabello plateado para darle una apariencia especial a Elksadir, para ello usé un pincel de punta borrosa y suave para poco a poco ir creando un relieve más natural y detallado; luego como de costumbre voy creando los mechones uno por uno hasta conseguir la apariencia que más me dejo convencido.
Adapting to the layers of this drawing program was somewhat difficult, but I tried to make everything look perfectly coupled, so I wanted to create a background that would tune well with Elksadir and for that I used many dark tones; first I used a scarlet red tone as a base and then with a square-tipped brush I created wavy and circular strokes to create some texture and then in a lighter and brighter tone I created similar strokes which I blurred a little to create a kind of background like a web of spider webs. Finally I created what would be the characteristic poison of this alien race with which it converts everyone who comes in contact with it; for this poison I used a yellow mustard tone and thanks to some layer effects I was giving brightness and realism to these drops on the tongue.
Adaptarme a las capas de este programa de dibujo fue algo difícil, pero trate de que todo se viera perfectamente acoplado, por ello quise crear un fondo que entonara bien con Elksadir y para ello use muchos tonos oscuros; primero use un tono rojo escarlata como base y luego con un pincel con punta cuadrada cree trazos ondulados y circulares para crear un poco de textura y luego en tonalidad más clara y brillante cree trazos similares los cuales difumine un poco para crear una especie de fondo como de entramado de telarañas. Finalmente cree lo que sería el veneno característico de esta raza alienígena con el cual convierte a todo el que tiene contacto con él; para este veneno me anime a usar una tonalidad amarilla medio mostaza y gracias a algunos efectos de capas fui dándole brillo y realismo a estas gotas en la lengua.
