It's finally here, my one-month anniversary using the Hive Ecosystem. Let's just say I'm loving the community and the apps. While it's been tough learning how to use all the apps, I feel I'm doing well.
Below I'll go over my stats for the month, what I learned and what I'm still clueless about.
So one month of posting on Hive, Ecency, Travelfeed, and Peakd resulted in an account value of $125.80! Not bad for posting things I would have posted for free somewhere else.
I ended the first 30 days with $88.618 Hive Power and $51.433 Hive Backed Dollars. Here's to at least doubling that every month!
Travelfeed has been my money-maker so far with 7 posts over $10! Thanks to everyone in the Travelfeed community for all the support on my posts.
I also started to find some success on non-travel posts by posting directly to community pages instead of to my personal blog page. Hive Gaming and Hive Book Club have been great to me so far!

As a semi-free-to-play player, I was doing amazing in Splinterlands until they changed the quest potion costs. Nerfing the quest potion caused my game progress to stagnate. While I still play, I am anxiously awaiting the release of new reward cards on Sept 13th and the release of the Chaos Legion Packs.
I'll be spending money to grow and advance my account once that happens.
The current value of my account is $90.18 including all reward cards, SPS airdrop, and DEC I've won. Not bad for a $10 investment in the game.
I've played over 660 matches and one 335 for a near 50-50 win/loss ratio. This is without buying/renting cards except for the 1st week of playing. I use mainly the starter cards for 90% of my matches.
Here are some of the key factors that have helped me grow so far on Hive.
As a novice, I'm still new to how these apps operate and have so many questions. From understanding voting to witnesses, I have no idea how most of this works. I'll save that for another post though.
