After Scary Mary couldn't eat, more symptoms developed. Vomiting and diarrhea... Isolation was prudent to protect the other 10 cats...
After a trip to the vet, walking distance from my house Scary was ex-rayed for a blockage. No blockage. She then was hydrated with a appetite stimulant and an anti-vomit medicine. At home she was put in isolation.
Worked miracles, within 24 hrs she was eating and pushing the bad stuff through her.
Isolation was pretty cushy... Queen size memory foam bed to convalesce on. A two room suite with computer access. What more could a patient ask for.
While she was making a quick recovery her two Boys Mickey & Patty had also stopped eating with Mickey having diarrhea. They were immediately put in their own isolation ward, the porch.
Mickey keeping warm under the covers
Patty feeling blue, but hanging tough
No vomiting with them.. But their not eating was scaring me. They are normally great eaters and no trouble.
Mickey started eating but Patty would not touch food. Had to get a food stimulant pill from the Vet for him.. Finally worked. This morning both boys ate all their wet food and some dry... Couple more days and they should be in the pink hopefully.
