Greetings, fellow sentient beings!

The city shortly before the New Year arrived. Still no snow and some sunny days to make the walks a bit more pleasant. Any walk is, in a way.
Clouds crossing the sky, covering the foreground in shadows at the time of the shot. Mid-afternoon. Shot from the 11th floor, looking north.
The North Pole is still about 3 000 kilometers away. More snowy, I hope. More icy. Even if I could see that far and the surface was not curved, there would be mountain ranges in the way. The Balkan Mountains, The Carpathian Mountains, The Tatras...and some Scandinavia over there.
One Christmas vacation, some ten years ago, I was putting together a puzzle picture of polar bears on icy ground. White, yellow and ochre hues only (the fur gets that tinge...I don't know, it's probably fat). Almost monochrome.
Ah, look at a this one, it's Leet o-clock again!

Not on the picture but right now, as I am writing this days after I took it.
I did not take photos when the sky was ablaze with fireworks, compensating for something, probably. Like war going on in the city for a couple of hours, that noise. The smell of gunpowder...
I wish you all a Happy New Year!
I also urge you to no melt too much of the ice caps because...you know...microorganisms have been hibernating under tons of ice for millions of years. Things we have no immunity against like T-Rex pox, etc.
Never mind ;)
Cheers!
Thank you for viewing and take care while taking your favorite shots!
Yours,
Manol
