A few years ago, we invited anyone who wanted to participate in these Catrina photo shoots, partly to create content and partly to practice. This was the first of those sessions, and I think it was the one where I put in the most work setting up this scene in a small space with the table and other props. I only repeated it for one Catrin session and never again, since it was a hassle to move everything around, not to mention setting up the lights and other equipment. Although I always say the hardest part is the makeup, which takes more than two hours and, on occasions like this when it covers part of the body, can take a little longer. Since then, we’ve developed a good friendship with the model; she and her daughters help us a lot with the projects we work on.
