Greetings, early wake-uppers!
Nothing to start your morning like the energy of the sun at sunrise. At our latitudes, September is a good month combining still nice temperatures with a bit shorter day, meaning sunrises are easier to catch since they arrive a bit later than in the June - July period.
In early September, I was able to start a small but filled with sunrise series, and I am going to share some of my morning moments as I continue processing the images taken a month ago and...still lying around in my relatively fresh archive folders.
What can I do? Not enough time to go through those vacation shots.
The first one I took near that rock formation at the bay of Sinemorets, South Eastern Bulgaria.
I've been there quite a few times, now. In this case, I was not able to get up and out of bed early enough, so I had no time for preparation when I reached the seaside. I could not get down and close, that is. I shot almost from the top of a nearby cliff. From a ridge, rather.
So, by the time I was ready, the Sun was already above sea level but...ooops, in September it hides behind the cliffs across from us. It's the sun-peeking-over-the-ridge shot, then.
Camera Settings:
Aperture F 11; Shutter Speed 1/200 of a sec. — already too fast but appropriate for hand-held camera shots; Light Sensitivity ISO 200 — needlessly high but perhaps tied to some other factor...or not...; Focal Lenth 23 mm — chosen according to the framing desired.
Camera Model:
Sony Alpha 6000 with a 16-50 mm kit lens.
