A non-rare sight of an old barrel being transformed into a solar boiler.
Something of a curiosity and something logical at the same time. You got containers, you got the Sun shining down on you from time to time. You got black paint. If anybody is unfamiliar with the physics of it...black does not reflect light, hence sun rays and solar heat. It maximizes the rate at which water in that container would be warmed up by the Sun on a sunny enough day.
