Welcome back to another fresh and juicy Splinterlands post guys, and I hope all of you are doing absolutely great in your lives and enjoying the weekend with your family and friends. I hope your jpurney for the ongoing season ranked battles has already begun and right now, you must be climbing the trophy ladder fast towards your season goal, while collecting those cool rewards along the way. The current ranked season is still relatively fresh, with around 12 days and 18 hours remaining before it comes to an end. That means there is still plenty of time left for all of us to keep grinding ranked matches, improve our trophy count, and hopefully secure our goal league tier and win amazing season rewards before the reset arrives. I wish every one of you the very best for the rest of this season and hope you achieve your desired league and trophy or leaderboard milestone.
Now talking about my own progress in the Frontier mode, I am currently competing in the Gold I league with 3,080 trophies. Since the season has only recently begun, I am in no hurry and will simply continue climbing calmly toward my first objective, which is reaching 4,300 trophies. Once I manage to reach that milestone, I will once again attempt to push for a leaderboard position if I have enough Battle Energy and time remaining. As for this week's raffle, I currently have 51 raffle entries collected so far. There are only around 17 hours and 30 minutes remaining before the raffle ends, so I am hoping to collect a few more entries tomorrow and finish somewhere between 57 and 60 entries before the deadline.
Today's Frontier Daily Wheel gave me 4 Frontier Battle Energy, which is always a useful reward because it lets me continue playing without waiting for energy regeneration, especially during season end. Anyway, I have now successfully maintained my 76-day login streak, and thanks to today's progress, my total Sparks balance has now reached 28,346 Sparks, and I am looking forward to seeing that number continue growing over the coming weeks.
Apart from that, today I also opened 9 Foundation Packs that I earned from the last three days' daily missions. The results were quite satisfying this time. I managed to pull 1 Legendary card, 2 Epic cards, and 11 Rare cards, including 3 Archons. Besides those, I also received 1 Gold Foil Common card, while the remaining cards were regular Common cards.
Now moving on to today's featured monster, let us take a closer look at another interesting reward monster from the newest Conclave Arcana Reward card set. As you have already seen in the title and thumbnail above, today we will be discussing Coralforged. At first glance, this monster looks like a durable frontline fighter, but after taking a closer look at its abilities, it becomes clear that it is much more than just another defensive tank. So, if you are interested, let's take a tour without any further ado.
The Coralforged was first seen in the game with the launch of the newest Conclave Arcana Reward card set. This monster belongs to the Water element and comes from the Elemental bloodline. It is classified as a Common monster card, meaning players need 400 cc of cards to upgrade it to max level. Coralforged costs 8 mana to deploy, making it an ideal choice for medium to high mana limit battles where strong frontline monsters become extremely important. It uses Melee attacks to deal damage and unlocks a total of four useful abilities at its maximum level. Let us now take a closer look at its stats and abilities across different leagues to find out more intel about this card.
At Level 3, Coralforged possesses a decent stats of 2 Melee attack, 4 Speed, 2 Armor, and 7 Health. At this level, it already gains its first ability called FLANK.
FLANK – At the beginning of the battle, if this unit is in the first position, the unit in the second position gains Reach.
At Level 5, Coralforged improves its stats a bit and now its 3 Melee attack while maintaining 4 Speed and 2 Armor. Its Health also increases to 8. At this level, it unlocks its second ability called FURY.
FURY – Deals double damage when attacking enemy units with Taunt.
At Level 8, Coralforged becomes even stronger with 4 Melee attack, 4 Speed, 3 Armor, and 9 Health. At this stage, it gains another useful defensive ability called DODGE.
DODGE – Gains an additional 25% chance to evade physical attacks.
At Level 10, Coralforged reaches its maximum form with 4 Melee attack, 4 Speed, 4 Armor, and 9 Health. At maximum level, it unlocks its final ability called SHIELD.
SHIELD – Receives 50% less damage (rounded up) from physical attacks, while attacks with only 1 power deal no damage at all.
Last but not least, I think Coralforged is a real strong defensive Common reward monsters, which is luckily introduced in the newest reward card set. The very first thing that impressed me is its excellent combination of Health, Armor, Speed, and respectable Melee attack. For an 8 mana monster, it offers enough durability to survive multiple attacks while still dealing meaningful damage throughout the battle. The first ability feature that I really like is the Flank ability. This ability opens up many interesting lineup combinations because it grants Reach to the monster standing directly behind Coralforged. That means you can place another powerful Melee attacker in the second position and allow both monsters to attack together from the very beginning of the battle, significantly increasing your team's offensive pressure. The Fury ability is another valuable addition, especially during high mana battles where Taunt monsters appear quite frequently. Being able to deal double damage against those defensive monsters allows Coralforged to eliminate them much faster and expose the rest of the enemy lineup. Its defensive abilities are equally impressive. Dodge makes it much harder for enemy Melee and Ranged monsters to land successful attacks, particularly because Coralforged already possesses above-average Speed. Even if somehow those attacks connect by any chance, the Shield ability further reduces incoming physical damage by half, making this monster extremely difficult to bring down using conventional physical attacks. Against Melee and Ranged lineups, Coralforged can remain alive for several extra rounds, giving the rest of your team plenty of time to finish the battle. Overall, I believe Coralforged is a fantastic frontline monster that combines excellent durability with useful support abilities and respectable offensive potential. Whether you want a sturdy tank, a counter against Taunt monsters, or a monster capable of enabling another powerful Melee attacker through Flank, Coralforged performs all of those roles remarkably well. It is definitely a Common reward card worth upgrading for players who enjoy building strong frontline formations.
