In this report I cover the early market activity from London on Wednesday, March 28th, 2018. I look at the precious metals, stocks and the foreign exchange markets. I note as well that yuan oil futures contract success is continuing after three days of trading as the September 2018 futures contract has traded more than 60'000 lots.
Later in the report I do a book review of "Bad Money" by Kevin Phillips. This book was published in 2008 just prior to the unravelling of the financial system after the collapse of Lehman Brothers and Mr Phillips was already warning back then about the recklessness of our financial system. I note that this book could have been published today in 2018 with not much editing as all the problems facing the financial system have not gone away and how Wall Street and the City of London banks are still in charge.
