Disney and Pixar imagine like "The toys will only move between themselves when you don't see them" and make [Toy Story], imagine like "How's the view of the bugs" and make [Bug's Life], imagine like "Deep in the see" and make [Finding Nemo], imagine like "Inside our head" and make [Inside Out]. They, finally, imagine "after death" and make [Coco].
Pixar's power is in the world view. After I saw Coco, I saw the difference [Along with the Gods]. If you watch Pixar movie, the world view comes naturally to you. Since both movies deal with the afterlife, they should be persuasive. For this purpose, it is necessary to organize the story tightly so that the audience is drawn to it. I was getting into the Mexican's death view while I was watching [Coco]. I wept watching both movie, but I wept with very different emotions. If I had seen [Along with the Gods] as a Mexican person, it must be less impressive than I had seen [Coco] as a Korean. I'd like to talk about four materials covered in Coco.
Music
The first subject is music. Unlike traditional Pixar, it plays music. Disney movies are so good that they have left many famous songs, but Pixar did not focus on the music. By the way, [Coco] put a great deal of effort into music because it is an important subject of the movie. So there is no point in saying more. From the music at the top of the movie, we could learn how to handle music from Pixar .
Death
Musicians may want to sing the songs they make to many people. It would be a great honor for an artist to sing the song to descendants after the artist dies. [Coco] deals with this. It tells the world after death how people who are not only artists but also non-artist people are doing after death. The way to deal with death is not heavy, but colorful. The bright colors change the atmosphere that can be heavier. The story goes to the dead and the rest of the people who remember them.
Memory
We remember people who were alive. When the annual day they died, they remember their memories in different ways depending on their culture and religion. More people may remember them for famous people. Some people say the way to respect the dead is to remember them. The people who will remember the dead most are the family members.
Family
Most of Pixar movies have a family. There are also family, and I think it is Pixar animation which has the largest number of families in Pixar's history. Even the main characters' families and dead ancestors appear. And the movie remind the reason why we have to remember our ancestors and what our ancestors meant for the rest of the family.
As I left the theater, I thought it would be nice to introduce some Korean culture among Pixar employees to make a movie about Korea.
