Today we are in the company of the first hybrid from the General Motors under the brand Chevrolet.
The car? The Chevrolet Volt
The first hybrid with an electric motor which provides 150 HP and a regular 1.3L petrol engine for 84 HP.
On the market from 2011 and it became the "Car of the Year 2011" named by Motor Trend journal.
In Europe, the same model is sold under the brand Oper Ampera. This car in Europe didn't meet any expectations and production was suspended several times.
The most interesting part of this car is its fuel consumption...
2.5 litres for 100 km or 93 MPG.
