Today let's back to the American history of the automotive industry with this Chrysler...
The car? The Chrysler Imperial Airflow
This model of Chrysler Airflow was released in 1936 with 5.3L 8 in-line cylinders for 130HP and is the first to consider aerodynamics in its construction... That's why Airflow.
Manufactured between 1934 and 1937, there were almost 30.000 units produced.
At that time, this Chrysler was perceived as being too innovative in design and wouldn't be successful as previous models were.
Later the aerodynamics in the car industry would become an important detail...
Did you know?
Due to the Great Depression in 1929, the car manufacturing industry is the first to be in a depression... There were 2.500.000 cars produced in 1930, and three years later, only 1.500.000 units.
Enjoy ;)
