This is my post for zapfic contest 240 , prompt "coincidence" hosted by @zapfic.club

I found it by coincidence, lying on the ground, and picked it up.

Fate intervened—a crisp $100 bill rested amid the bustle, untouched.

I quickly took it, and when I touched it, it was fake.

I feel sad. I need the money to survive another day.

This micro story represents the ironies of life, because no matter how ambitious, what I ended up receiving was a lesson.
