Hey everyone! Its an absolute pleasure to be able to read blogs from such interesting people. My name is Akshay. I am a Travel enthusiast and music lover. Essentially a loner who is happiest reading blogs about Spirituality, Self Improvement and Positivity. Will be found with my Ipod plugged in most of the times. I love working out and enjoy playing Football and Badminton. I'm 35 and have just been blessed with an adorable baby girl. Which brings me to why I have decided to start blogging regularly.
Our thoughts are powerful. So powerful that they define our reality. I don't say this from a superficial point of view, but science backs the statement as well. I will blog more about this in my upcoming posts but for this one I'll stop here.
There have been numerous studies in which experts have studied the behaviors of eight year old children and have predicted the kind of adults they will grow up to become with 96 per cent accuracy. They were able to predict the characteristics that they will have as adults that will define them. This underlines the importance of the first seven years of a child's brain development. For a new dad who wants the absolute best for his daughter, understanding this piece of information is of utmost importance. I have been on this journey for a while now but am nowhere near being a master of it. I am now at a stage where I am aware of my psychological flaws and the work I need to put in to correct them in order to be able to always keep moving forward. I have been working on myself for the last 5 years now and have had some excellent revelations on how socially conditioned we all are. And most of our thoughts about the real world are completely false! What if one day you realized that each and every one of your self limiting belief holds no water?
Through this blog I aim to be able to share my learning in this area. This blog is also going to be an everyday reminder of how my thoughts and actions are going to directly impact the way my baby grows up to think. If I can help even one person along the way I will think of this as a job well done. I look forward to comments from all of you so I learn even more. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
